Setting Up Buying Groups in Flawless POS

In this article, we’ll walk through the process of adding a buying group to a wholesale account in Flawless and how to manage them effectively. Buying groups are helpful for organizing and tracking sales—especially when working with multiple wholesale accounts. You can assign a buying group directly from the Wholesale Accounts tab.

 Step 1: Go to the Wholesale Accounts Section

  1. From the left-hand side menu, click on Wholesale Accounts:


     
  2. A list of all accounts will appear.
     

Step 2: Select the Account You Want to Update

  1. Click on the wholesale account you'd like to assign a buying group to.
     
  2. Go to the Details tab of the selected account:

     

 

Step 3: Assign the Buying Group

  1. Locate the field labeled Buying Group:


     
  2. You have two ways to assign a group:

  • Type the name of the relevant group.
  • Or click the three-dotted menu next to the field to:
    • Add a new item: Create a new buying group from scratch.
    • Select from a list: Choose from previously created buying groups in the system.


       

Once completed, the buying group will be successfully linked to the wholesale account.

Step 4: Reporting by Buying Group

If you’d like to track sales and performance by buying group, Flawless offers several reports that support this.


Recommended Reports:

  • Wholesale Account Aging Report
  • Wholesale Account Aging Report By Transaction
  • Wholesale Account Aging By Invoice Date
  • Wholesale Invoice List
  • Wholesale Invoice Summary By Account

     
      

Important note: The Buying Group column is not shown by default in some reports such as Wholesale Account Aging Report, Wholesale Account Aging Report By Transaction, Wholesale Account Aging By Invoice Date.

 To enable it:

  1. Click the three dots next to any of the columns in the report.
  2. Select Columns:



  3. From the configuration panel that pops-up, enable the Buying Group column:
