Step 1: Access the Product’s Components Section
Begin by navigating to the Product Details section for the item to which you want to add components, such as a ring with diamonds. In this example, we’ll be using a 14K Yellow Diamond Engagement Ring - 1ct Round Cut Yellow Gold 5.
Select the Components tab.
Click on the Add from Certificate Number button.
Step 2: Enter the GIA Certificate Number
A dialogue box will open, prompting you to enter the GIA certificate number.
Input the certificate number, then press OK to begin importing component details.
Step 3: Review Important Component Details
The component specifications from the GIA certificate will now appear, consolidated into a single component line.
Verify the component details for accuracy and completeness.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
Click Save in the top-right corner to ensure all component details are stored.
Note: Every unique GIA lookup incurs a small fee, currently set at 20 cents per lookup, passed through from the GIA service.
