How to Create a User and assign a Role

This tutorial provides guidelines on how to set up a new user and assign them necessary roles in Flawless POS for specified stores. Managing user access improves overall system security and ensures the right people have access to perform the tasks they are responsible for.


Access to the user settings is found in the Store module. Users first need to navigate to the Store and then to the Admin option. To access Admin, an admin security code will be required. Once in this section, click on the Users tab where you can view all existing users.


To set up a new user, click on the 'Add User' button and fill out the details for the new user including name, contact details, and personal security code.


To assign a user to a store or multiple stores, navigate to the Stores tab, expand the preferred store and go to the 'Users' tab. Click the 'Add User' button and select the desired user. After adding the user, necessary roles can be assigned to control the permissions of the user for various functionalities within the system. Each assigned role controls different access levels according to company requirements.
