Overview of the Security Tab

This knowledge base explains how to set and manage user permissions in Flawless POS using the system's Security tab under the Admin panel found in the Store module.

To access the Security tab, users first navigate through the left navigation menu, then into the Store, and then on to the Admin option. To access the latter, admin security code is required. Once in the Security tab, users are presented with system modules on the left side. When selecting a module, adjustable security settings related to that module will appear.

The video tutorial uses the 'Inventory' module as an example. For this module, the guide shows how to adjust the 'Update or Add Product' entry permissions. Users are shown how to remove or add roles, such as 'Store Manager,' which decides if those roles can execute certain actions within the system.

These permission adjustments can be made across all modules and areas within the Security tab, giving full control to admins for security customization. For example, the Navigation option can control permissions regarding the navigation menu and tabs in different modules.
