Sometimes, the customers request such as product repair or custom build can be completed on the spot. There’s now a more efficient way to record the job and the sale using the new “Already Completed” option inside the Product Build Service Job flow in Flawless POS. Feel free to check the video tutorial below.
Already Completed checkbox in POS
Step 1: Create a Product Build Service Job
- From the POS module, select Product Build Service Job on the left-hand panel.
- In the popup window, select or create a new product. Fill in the job details—such as title, labor parts, and pricing.
- If the job has been completed in-store and the customer is ready to pay and leave with the item right away, check the box labeled “Already Completed?”. Afterwards, click OK.
- Proceed with checkout as usual. You will also notice that there's a box for the Already Completed option underneath the product in the checkout section. You may also be able to configure the option from here.
Step 2: How the Sale Works
Once “Already Completed” is checked, Flawless POS will automatically create a single sale transaction for both the service job and the pickup. This skips the need to generate a second sale once the job is done.
Instead of the traditional two-step process:
Creating the job
Creating a new sale for the pickup once completed
It now happens in one streamlined sale.
In the sales record, you’ll see:
The linked Service Job number
The status listed as Already Completed
When Should You Use This?
This new option is perfect for in-store, same-day jobs, examples are:
Quick soldering or polishing services
Minor resizing or adjustments done on the spot
Emergency repairs that don’t require hold time
This simplifies the process, improves checkout speed, and eliminates duplicate transactions.
