How to Create and Execute Markup Rules

Modified on Thu, 15 Feb at 1:46 PM

This guide shows you how to create and apply markup rules in Flawless POS. Markup rules are crucial for performing bulk pricing updates on your items, saving considerable time and reducing potential for errors.

The guide begins by accessing the Markup module and exhibit the list of current markup rules. These rules apply from top to bottom, meaning only the first rule that meets the condition will take effect; the rest that follow will get ignored.

In the following steps, the guide instructs to add a new markup rule by assigning a name, updating markups for both wholesale and retail, and setting an appropriate filter to apply the rule correctly. After confirming the markup rule, it gets listed and could be prioritized by moving it to the top. You can then execute the markup rules to update the prices, choosing whether to include manual cost items. Once updates are complete, a notification pops up detailing the number of products affected.
