Features Added

Custom Build

We’ve added a new way to manage custom builds directly within the Checkout App.

To start:

  1. Begin a new sale as usual.

  2. Go to the Services section and select the Build icon.

  3. Choose the customer for the build.

  4. Enter the build details, including a description and completion date.

    • You can also mark the build as already completed, if applicable.

  5. Under Parts/Labor, choose between:

    • Labor

    • Part

    • Customer-owned part

  6. Add quantity, price, discounts, and tax (if applicable).

  7. Upload photos for reference.

This new workflow simplifies tracking and invoicing for custom items, ensuring all details and associated costs are clearly recorded.

Repair

Repairs can now be initiated directly through the Services tab on the Checkout App for improved workflow control.

To start a repair:

  1. Begin a new sale as usual.

  2. Go to the Services tab and select the Repair icon.

  3. Choose whether the repair is for an existing purchase or a new item.

This process makes it easier to manage repairs and maintain consistent records for all customer items.

Creating new/custom items from the POS on the App.

This new feature released now allows users to create items from scratch directly within the POS app. In the Products tab, a new green tag icon is available — tapping it opens a form where you can enter all the necessary product details, including a new or existing SKU, name, description, designer, price, quantity, and photos.

This functionality is also available through the Services tab by selecting “New Item / Special Order.” This option lets you create a new product directly from the POS while marking it as a special order, which will automatically appear on the customer’s invoice.

Find CC in Flawless Checkout App

The Find CC payment option allows you to link an existing credit card transaction to a new sale — ideal for cases where an order was voided, canceled, or failed, but the card charge was intentionally kept.

When to use Find CC:

  • An order was canceled or voided, but the card payment needs to be applied to a new sale.

  • A payment succeeded but the original order didn’t complete.

  • You need to connect an existing transaction to a replacement order.

This prevents duplicate charges and ensures your payment and order data remain aligned.

Discount Permissions in the Checkout App

Discount permissions in the Flawless Checkout App are now divided by user role to ensure proper approval flow and pricing control.

Roles and Limits:

  • Sales Associates and Store Managers can apply discounts up to 25%.

  • Admins can apply any discount percentage without restrictions.

If a discount greater than 25% is required:

  1. The associate or store manager must request approval from an admin.

  2. A text will be automatically sent to the corresponding admin for authorization if the "Text for approval" option is selcted. Otherwise, an admin can approve instantly if "On screen approval" is selected - this will prompt them to enter their code for the discount approval.

  3. Once the admin provides the code, the higher discount can be approved and applied to the sale.

This update helps maintain consistent pricing policies while allowing flexibility for special cases.

Google Merchant Center Integration
Flawless Inventory can now be connected directly to Google Merchant Center, similar to how it integrates with Facebook and Instagram. To download your data source, simply enter this in your browser: www.yourwebsite.com/management/createGoogleFeed. This automatically downloads a feed file that you can import into your Google Merchant Center account.

Enhancements Made

Bugs Fixed

  • Fixed an issue in the POS App where non-admin roles could bypass discount approval by selecting Custom → Fixed Amount and re-entering the same number.
  • Fixed a bug allowing users outside approved roles to apply any discount percentage without authorization.
  • Addressed a problem where Associate and Store Manager roles could apply 5–75% discounts without proper approval.
  • Resolved a bug where changing the discount amount after applying a percentage did not correctly update the value.
  • Corrected fixed amount entries to now automatically format with two decimal places.
