How to Submit a Return in the Flawless Checkout App

Submitting a return through the Flawless Checkout App allows you to process refunds efficiently while keeping accurate records of returned items. This ensures smooth handling of customer returns and proper tracking in the system.


You may refer to this video for a step-by-step guide on submitting a return: 


Step 1: Access the Services module

1. From the checkout app, go to the Services module located at the top of the screen next to the Products tab.
2. Click on Return to begin the return process.



Step 2: Select the items to return

1. Search for the customer’s name to locate the correct order.
You’ll see details such as:

  • Date

  • Sale number

  • Customer

  • SKU

  • Available items to return

2. Select the items to be returned and click Add to Cart.



3. The selected items will appear on the right-hand side of the screen, where you can edit any details as needed.



Step 3: Proceed to Checkout

Click Checkout to continue.
Select the customer’s preferred method for reimbursement and click Submit Sale.


Step 4: Complete the return

After submitting the return, you can handle the receipt just like a regular sale:

  • Print the receipt

  • View the receipt

  • Send the receipt to the customer via text or email
