JM Shipping Integration in Flawless POS

The JM Shipping integration in Flawless POS allows you to seamlessly generate real-time shipping quotes using your Zing account from supported carriers (like FedEx and USPS) directly within both the Retail and Wholesale modules. This guide walks you through how to configure JM Shipping and how to use it in real sales and shipment scenarios. Feel free to use the video guide below as well!

JM Shipping in Flawless POS

JM Shipping on the Retail Side

Let’s go through an example of how to use JM Shipping during a retail checkout.

1. Go to the Sales Module and proceed to checkout a product.
   

2. In the Package section of the checkout workflow, click on Configure Shipment.
   

3. Enter the shipping address for the recipient. In this example, we’ll use a pre-configured location. Click Next to continue.Please note that the Email, Phone # and address will all need to be in a correct format. Otherwise, the label won't be created.
   
   

4. On the next screen, click Add Package. A dialog window will appear prompting you to configure the package using the following fields:

   • Cargo

   • Delivery Option

   • Packaging

   • Declared Value

   • Weight

   • Carriers

   • Service

5. Once the information is entered, click Get Quotes Now.

6. The system will automatically retrieve live shipping quotes from JM Shipping. For example, if FedEx is the selected carrier, it will return a list of all available options and prices.
   

7. Select your preferred option, and the package details (including the shipping cost) will display immediately.
   

8. Finalize the shipment setup and click Create Shipment.
   

9. After creating the shipment, a window will appear prompting you to choose how to apply the shipping charge to the Sale. You can choose to:

   • Split Evenly — Distribute the shipping cost equally among all items

   • Add to First Item — Apply the entire shipping charge to the first item

   • Don’t Apply — Leaves the ability to distribute shipping charges to the user
     This step ensures flexibility whether you're shipping one item or several.
     
     

10. Complete the checkout process as usual.

Note: If any issues occur during configuration—such as an unavailable delivery service—Flawless POS will display a pop-up error. For instance, if USPS Priority Mail Express does not support morning delivery, the system will show an alert and suggest an alternative service.

JM Shipping on the Wholesale Side

The process for using JM Shipping in Wholesale is similar.

1. Navigate to the Wholesale Module and open the account requiring shipment.
   

2. Go to the Shipments tab and click Add Shipment.
   

3. Enter the shipping address and select the products for shipment.
   

4. Under the Shipment section, click Configure Shipment.
   

5. Enter the Insure Amount and click OK.
   

6. Just like on the retail side, click Add Package, enter the required fields, and click Get Quotes Now.
   

7. Select your preferred shipping option from the quote results.
   

8. Click Next, finalize the review, and then click Create Shipment.
