Checking Printer Connection Issues
If your Flawless POS system cannot connect to the RFID printer, check the upper left corner of the printer's LCD screen.
Potential Causes for Connection Issues:
- The printer is offline and not registered.
- The connection to the internet was interrupted, preventing the script from starting.
Solution:
Check the Ox Logo on the Printer Screen
- If the blue Ox logo is not showing, the printer is not registered and is not accepting connections.
Restart the Flawless Printer Web Socket
- Navigate to Settings > Script and start the Flawless Printer Web Socket.
- This should allow the printer to successfully accept connections and print.
Ensuring Proper Media Installation for Optimal Performance
If you've installed new media in your RFID printer, follow these steps to ensure it is set up correctly:
Align the Media Roll
- Make sure the media is positioned at the 120 mark or 115 mark on the printer.
Feed the Media Correctly
- Pull the media through the printer and ensure it passes under the silver beam at the back.
Check Alignment on the Front Side
- Guide the media so it goes under the front guiding beam securely.
Close the Printer Securely
- Double-check that the media is properly aligned before closing the printer.
Your printer is now ready to use.
ZX3R Printer Default Ready State
After setup, your ZX3R printer should display a "Ready" state on the screen.
Troubleshooting Printing Errors:
- If an error appears, click “Cancel” on the screen.
- Press the "Feed" button to clear the error.
- If necessary, restart the printer to reset the system.
To open the printer, move the hinge forward—this makes accessing internal components much easier.

Steps to Ensure Proper Alignment:
- Position the media roll all the way to the left.
- Feed the media under the rear beams at the back of the printer.
- Pass the media under the two beams and into the laser sensor area.
