How to Look Up Commissions using the available Reports

Modified on Thu, 4 Jan at 1:59 PM

In this guide we will explain how various commission structures and shared commissions impact employee commissions using Flawless POS system. This method is essential for businesses to properly manage their employees' commissions and effectively track sales.

The tutorial begins by introducing four different sales scenarios, which include regular sales, special orders, and a sale involving multiple salespersons with uneven commission splits. Navigating to the report module reveals three reports: Employee Sales Commission Breakdown, Employee Wages Overview, and Daily Report, Sales Details by Sales Person.

Employee Sales Commission Breakdown provides a detailed view of each sale and their corresponding commissions. It distinguishes between regular and special-order sales, and reflects different commission shares in sales involving multiple salespersons. Special orders are indicated as non-commissionable if they are yet to be picked up by customers.

Employee Wages Overview focuses on the total sales and commissions. It establishes that commissions for special orders are only counted upon order pickup. Notably, the commission share total and total earned commission are visible for each salesperson.

Lastly, Daily Report, Sales Details by Sales Person presents the total commissionable amount, commission percentages, and earned amount per salesperson. It categorically shows sales where commissions were earned, excluding incomplete special order line items unless specifically included.
