How to Save a Draft Sale

Modified on Tue, 26 Dec, 2023 at 12:28 PM

In this guide we will explain how to save a sale as a draft using the Point of Sale module — an important feature allowing you to pause the sale process to resume at a later date or to send a draft proposal to a customer.

The process involves first accessing the Point of Sale module from the navigation menu. In the example given, a ring is added to the Cart via the search bar. To save this as a draft, one clicks on the three-dotted blue button in the bottom-right corner and selects the 'Save Draft' option. After naming the draft and pressing 'OK', the saved draft leaves an empty cart ready for more sales.

To load a draft sale, return to the three-dotted button and select 'Load Draft Sale'. You see a list of saved drafts in the 'Pick Draft Sale' dialog. You can then select the preferred draft by clicking on its name under the 'Name' column. This action adds the saved draft to the Cart, allowing you to process the sale as normal.
