How to Create a New In-Stock Product

This article provides a guide on how to create a new in-stock product using the Point of Sale (POS) module. This is a useful feature when you want to create an item quickly during a sale. Follow these steps to efficiently add new products.

Step 1: Access the Sale Module

• Open your left navigation menu.

• Click on the Sale menu option.
  
   

• Press the New in-stock product button to begin the process of creating a product. 

Step 2: Fill in the Product Details

• In the Quick Add Product dialog, fill in all necessary fields for creating a product from scratch. For this example, we will be creating a new ring.
  
  

Note: The Stock count field is defaulted to the value of 1, meaning the product will already have an in-stock quantity without needing to create a Merchandise Receive.

• After filling in the details, press OK.

• Confirm the warning that the stock of the item will be created.

Step 3: Add the Product to Checkout

• Once confirmed, the Search Bar will automatically populate with the new SKU.
