How to Create a Customer Custom Build through the POS

In this guide we will go over the creation of a custom product build using the Point of Sale module, a feature meant to strengthen customer relations by catering to individualized demands.


In summary, the guide leads you to 'Product Build Service Job' option to commence the custom product making process. In the given example, a new product is created for a customer using the ‘New Product’ and the ‘New Client Build’ commands in the context menu.

Subsequent steps involve filling out basic information about the new product such as Inventory type, Title, Vendor, Designer, and more. After adding the item, the product build menu pops up with the base piece included as first part of labor, following which you can add the estimated costs for assembly. Prices can be adjusted in the 'Price fields' and once satisfied with the selection, you can hit OK.


The final step is to submit the sale which has been covered in previous video guides. When the customer is ready to pick up or have the Special Job shipped, you can select 'Special or Pickup Order'.
